27 Set 08 Rilasciato Gnome 2.24!

Rilasciata la versione ufficiale di GNOME 2.24 ecco l’annuncio ufficiale !

The GNOME community hopes to make our users happy with many new features and improvements, as well as the huge number of bug fixes that are shipped in this latest GNOME release. Some highlights of GNOME 2.24 are a better support for instant messaging and for audio/video conferencing, but also the first official release of the GNOME Mobile platform! Qui trovate le release notes con le modifiche principali e le nuove funzionalità. Vi anticipo che c’è l’adozione di un nuovo client client di messaggistica istantanea multi-protocollo Empathy (basato su Telepathy), la presenza della nuova versione del client VoIP Ekiga, supporto alla navigazione con schede tab ed una vista più “compatta” in Nautilus, possibilità di riproduzione di  filmati in alta definizione di YouTube e molto altro ancora su Totem il lettore di default gnome.
